Après avoir vu sur de nombreux blogs que de prime abord, ce sont les Illusions d'Ombres CHANEL "Epatant" et "Ebloui" qui plaisaient le plus aux filles (Mirifique mis à part bien sûr), j'ai décidé de les swatcher tous afin de bien faire mon choix!

As I am looking for several items and that it's been a few weeks that I wait to find new "wouaw" and "oh that's super pretty" things.... I thought It would be interesting to post them in this blog...

• Let's start with MAC cosmetics:

Eye shadows:
Deep Damson - deep burnt burgundy Permanent at PRO stores.This color is amazing!!! And my MUA loooooves it for me! Yeah! GOT IT!
Girlie - dirty pink finally, Da Bling and Girlie swatches look the same on me so I took Da Bling instead of Girlie GOT IT!
Outré  - mustard (MAC Me Over collection)
Goldenrod - intense yellow gold : I won't take it as I don't like the texture I LEAVE IT !
Nylon - "soft gold" highlight - nice colour ;) I took Retrospeck instead of Nylon. Nylon looked "white" and ashy on my skin! GOT IT!
Blackberry - "medium dark browny plum" - Nice colour and texture but My MUA and I don't think I "NEED" this colour in my stash as it may look ashy without a pop of another colour.... Thus, I leave it for now....maybe later, maybe not! I LEAVE IT !

Then thanks to a MAC-addict friend (Red Tsarina from the http://mac-addict.forumpro.fr ), I discovered the Illusions d'Ombres by Chanel (part of their 2011 Fall collection)
I swatched some of them  yesterday :
L-R: Illusions d'Ombres de Chanel Mirifique - Fantasme - Emerveillé - Illusoire

At first (I mean, when I read Red Tsarina'spost and saw her pictures), I thought I would prefer Illusoire shade ( because I thought it looked like MAC's paintpot in Dangerous Cuvee that I missed)...and maybe Mirifique, and also Emerveillé....


But, when I swatched Mirifique (I chose to swatch it at the end)... I just fell in love!!!


I want it! I need it!!


Now, my priorities regarding these Illusions d'Ombre are: Mirifique FOR SURE before the end of next month (fortunately, I received several gift cards by Sephora that I saved for something "Woaw"! so I will use them for this and MAC stuff), then Illusoire, then Emerveillé, then probably Fantasme also!!!


So I'm looking for:
Mirifique
Illusoire After several swatches, I find it not so wouaw! So I won't take it!
Emerveillé  Same comment as for Illusoire
Fantasme

Pink MAC haul

Ca y est!!!

La nouvelle boutique MAC rue de Rivoli a eu raison de moi (et de mon amie qui a fait ses 2 1ers craquages MAC dans la journée!!! - elle n'a pas résisté!!!  )
J'y ai été conseillée et maquillée par Frederic (super!!!)
J'y ai aussi reconnu Tom aussi (le MUA "Senior") et une des filles qui était aux Champs Elysées (mais ce n'est pas "ma" MUA).

La boutique est vraiment grande, spacieuse (on ne se cogne pas contre les autres clients) et hyper lumineuse!!!  On y est vraiment bien!!!

Hey les filles, la nouvelle boutique MAC de la rue de Rivoli (à Paris) ouvre bientôt !!!!! En même temps que ma recherche de rouge-à-lèvres "nude", j'en ai profité pour swatcher les duos Double Feature de la collection "Colourization" de MAC qui est disponible dans toutes les boutiques MAC en France depuis avant hier (Jeudi 4 août 2011).

La collection "complémentaire" Cinematics (disponible en exclusivité depuis 1 ou 2 semaines déjà au stand MAC du Sephora des champs Elysées) devrait être disponible courant septembre dans les autres boutiques;

Revenons à Colourzation.

Dès les premières photos de cette collection, le duo 4 me plaisait déjà. La particularité du fard Ochre  me plaisait et j'adore le vert... le DF (DF = Double Feature) N°4 était une évidence pour moi, restait à le swatcher....

Make Up update (49-1) : I finally found my nudes lipsticks!!!

Just a few days after my latest post on this blog, I'm here again to share my makeup newbies in my stash.

I was looking for a nude lipstick, thus I tried to find names of such lipsticks by MAC that could suit my complexion (NW43/NC45) and my needs:
- not look ashy,
- does not need lipliner,
- quite neutral (ie not too pinky or too brown) : closer to my skintone but
- with a little sheen to it,
- plus I do not have to be careful in using it, I mean if I need to tap it lightly to have the right finish/colour or other, then it's not ok...

Hi everyone,

Yes, I do apologize for this all non sense blog : no real editorial focus, no question, no regularity in the posts...
I am sorry for those (if there is anyone) who like what I write in this blog.
Well I'm kinda super shy, plus I am not a competitor so looking after views and do things just for that, well it is not Me...

I will try to be more regular in the posts I publish and more interesting (ie not just post picture of my make up) but try to give my comments and advice on it...well do some kind of reviews - but short.

The reason why I did not untill now, is that I do not collect make up, I have the make up I do like and I looked after and tried many times (several swatches, had Make up Artists play the products on me) and like the result before I get them ;-)

I think you can understand that.

I am not a person who follows fashion just to follow fashion - I know some person act like that, and that's ok- I already know what I like....

Just wanted to say this and other things but I will stop just now, and follow to "talk" about "me" later ;)
